One of the biggest challenges that faces athletes on the court is knowing the right time to take risks that could lead to a victory. Join us as we explore the challenges and benefits of taking risks both on the court and in the workplace with a panel of extraordinary entrepreneurial women in the Indianapolis community. Join us as we explore the challenges and benefits of taking risks both on the court and in the workplace with a panel of extraordinary entrepreneurial women in the Indianapolis community.


Beyond the Baseline is an NCAA Networking Series designed to INform, INSpire, & INclude Indianapolis Professional Women to #GetINtheGame.

This event will include an hour of happy hour drinks and mingling followed by the hour long program and will conclude with a showing of the IUPUI Women’s Basketball Game vs. South Dakota State.

• Shyra Ely-Gash, Owner of Styles by Ms. Ely, LLC.

In her role as the NCAA’s vice president of women’s basketball championships, Anucha Browne sets the strategic direction for and oversees the operation and management of the NCAA Division I, II and III women’s basketball championships.

• Kelly Krauskopf, President & COO, Indiana Fever

Kelly Krauskopf is in her 17th season as the Indiana Fever’s top executive, engineering the franchise from its birth in 1999 and directing the club’s business and basketball interests all the way to three WNBA Finals appearances since 2009 and its first league championship in 2012. The club’s chief operating officer through 16 seasons and the past 12 as general manager, she was promoted to President and General Manager in October 2012.

• Carly Swift & Mandy Selke – Co-Founders of Just Pop In

Just Pop In! was inspired by a few different important aspects in their lives. First, Carly and Mandy popped stove top popcorn with their grandfather when they were children. This is something that inspired their love for popcorn. Secondly, they wanted to create a company that was fresh, modern, and artistic, while staying true to their nostalgic upbringing. Carly and Mandy created Just Pop In! in 2003. Their goal was to create a delicious product while utilizing their creativity which would give them their logo and brand recognition. It was also important be able to support their community and philanthropic efforts.
