DATTUS is doing for manufacturers and industry what NEST has done for smart homes and Fitbit has done for personal health.

For industry today, it’s a no-brainer to make your machines smart, which is exactly what DATTUS does. Through simplicity and a unique application-agnostic ‘Internet of Things’ platform, DATTUS transforms aging industrial machinery into smart-machines overnight. By implementing DATTUS’ platform, manufacturers around the world are optimizing processes, preventing unplanned downtime, and driving growth.

Similar to the growth DATTUS helps to drive for its customers, winning the Best New Tech Product Mira Award last year helped to drive growth for DATTUS. Immediately following the awards gala, DATTUS gain renewed attention from several large customers and from investors. Above all, winning the Mira Award gave DATTUS a boost in brand recognition throughout the Midwest.

Overall, 2016 was a big publicity year for the company. CEO Garg was named to the 2016 Midwest Energy News “40 Under 40” list, a program that highlights young leaders throughout the Midwest who work in America’s transition to a clean energy economy.

Garg was also announced as one of Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30” in the manufacturing and industry space. The Class of 2017 was detailed in the issue on January 24, and boasts “young disruptors, innovators, and entrepreneurs who are changing the world.” Mira Award judges also described DATTUS as disruptive in their original rationale for awarding the Best New Tech Product to the company.

“DATTUS is an extremely innovative and disruptive product, which actually includes a suite of both hardware and software products, that have the potential to revolutionize manufacturing and energy production,” declared the judges.

The DATTUS team did a great job of announcing their Mira Award win through their blog, email database, social media, public relations and media relations efforts, as well as prominently highlighting the award on their website.

It doesn’t appear that DATTUS will be slowing down anytime soon. The company continues to grow 20-25 percent month-over-month and today has expanded to serving customers across two continents.

Awards programs like the Mira Awards continue to inspire the people who work at DATTUS to pursue their passions, which happens to include making the industrial world smarter, one machine at a time.
