As Indiana’s premier initiative for growing Indiana’s thriving technology-based economy, TechPoint is known for its ability to identify and empower high-growth Indiana technology companies through education and networking programs, government advocacy and strategic economic development initiatives.
TechPoint represents Indiana's entire technology community, including publicly-traded companies, private businesses, colleges and research universities, and local economic development organizations. As the preeminent voice for Indiana’s growing technology community, TechPoint is leading a focused and aggressive statewide effort to help transform the state’s technology sector.
TechPoint seeks to catalyze growth in Indiana’s information technology sector and be an enabler of the technology platforms necessary for growth in the advanced manufacturing, logistics, and health and life sciences sectors. Merging with the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) in 2006, TechPoint joined BioCrossroads (TechPoint’s life sciences equivalent) and Conexus Indiana as a major vehicle for economic growth and diversification.

The outdated view of Indiana as a risk-adverse, low-tech region is rapidly going away. Indiana has firmly planted its stake as a player in the new global economy, and TechPoint is leading the way.
