TechPoint is launching our sixth session of Sales Bootcamp, a six-week program for new grads and career changers, in January 2018. Sales Bootcamp applications are now live on the TechPoint website and the deadline to apply to the winter session is January 6, 2018. Applications for the summer session will stay open through April 13, 2018.

In 2016, we launched the inaugural Sales Bootcamp experience with 17 new grads and career changers who wanted a first-hand look at sales roles inside Indiana’s rapidly growing technology community. Business development representatives and sales managers are some of the most in-demand positions at local tech companies in the Greater Indianapolis area, and they are a proven fast-track to career acceleration and compensation growth for new grads and career changers!

  • 90% of the program participants have received job offers following the program
  • Only 25% of participants were confident in the job search process prior to the program, and after completing it, 98% said they were confident in the job search process

“I have learned so much about various roles, opportunities, and environments that exist to work in Indianapolis technology,” said McHale Gardiner, business development representative at Springbuk. “Being able to walk into a company and attempt to prove your worth immediately can be daunting, but it is an incredible rush to experience.  Sales Bootcamp allowed for me to move straight to Indianapolis out of college and I am incredibly excited to begin my working career here.”

Are you a goal-oriented, competitive person interested in proving yourself in the exciting tech industry?

TechPoint’s Sales Bootcamp offers participants the opportunity to work with fast-paced companies and learn on-the-job skills so they can land a full-time sales role. During the workday of the 6-week program, Sales Bootcampers will be mentored by a 10-year Sandler sales training coach in addition to working directly in and on projects at several different companies.

“We thoroughly enjoyed participating as a host company for the TechPoint Sales Bootcamp. The participants came to us eager to learn and were not afraid to jump on the phones,” said Kenzie Handley, sales development representative team lead at Delivra. “We even re-evaluated some of our internal sales processes and made changes because of the success of the Bootcamp and more specifically because of the participants themselves. All around great program put on by TechPoint to provide participants an opportunity to learn about the tech industry and a chance to meet some of those tech companies.”

What kind of sales roles might you apply for after completing the program? Graduates of TechPoint’s Sales Bootcamp have become business development representatives, customer success managers, and account executives. Many of those jobs are currently available on our Job Board and are some of the highest in demand careers in tech sales.

Outside of the workday, Sales Bootcampers will get some of the same great perks provided to participants in TechPoint’s Xtern program — perks like professional networking and incredible social experiences taking in Indianapolis with new friends met during Sales Bootcamp.

Only 20 Sales Bootcampers will be selected to participate so apply now if you think you would be a great fit and are looking for a launchpad for your career.
